Why Does MoreGoodDays® Work?
Most treatments for chronic pain only mask the symptoms, without addressing what's really happening.
MoreGoodDays® takes a different approach. We target the root cause of your pain: an overprotective pain system. Based on the latest science and global guidelines for back pain*, we focus on how your nervous system generates pain.
It’s like a smoke alarm going off when you’re just boiling the kettle. Your pain system can misinterpret harmless triggers as dangerous and create pain.
That’s where MoreGoodDays® steps in—to calm your overprotective pain system and guide you toward lasting relief.
Frequently Asked Questions
MoreGoodDays® is an evidence-based pain-management and recovery program that has been designed and evaluated to achieve outcomes for muskuloskeletal pain conditions. There are two main ingredients: 1. A mobile app to access educational content, activities and live sessions run by experts, and 2. Psychologists and physiotherapists trained in chronic pain for deeper support.
Any person who has experienced an MSK injury that:
- Has not resolved itself after 12 weeks
- Is earlier in their journey, but are at risk of developing chronicity (e.g. mental health challenges, high fear avoidance or nervousness, trauma due to injury or prior, re-injury)
Evidence-based practice and rigorous evaluation are core to MoreGoodDays. Partnered with the University of South Australia, we evaluate our program’s effectiveness to ensure real impact. Using validated measures aligned with ePOCC standards, over 80% of clients report meaningful improvements in pain, function, and emotional well-being.
Although we don’t yet serve compensable populations, we’re working to tailor our programs for this group, and our research partners are prepared to evaluate and support continuous improvement.
All our educational content is build on two key principles: scientific rigor, and real-lived experience. That’s why all our content is crafted by expert researchers, clinicians, and writers who have lived with chronic pain. Each piece goes through more than 10 rounds of review by a multidisciplinary team to ensure scientific and clinical accuracy, as well as review by language experts to make sure it’s clear and understandable to an 8th grader.
